Wimbledon, The Championships

Well, Well, Well in satrting John Mcnroe predicted that Roger has a best chance to win the Wimbledon and tie the record of 7 wimbledon titles with Pete Sampras and 17th Grand Slam title overall.


When Roger entered the tournament he looked fresh and confident and open his bid for 7th Wimbledon title in style after defeating Albert Ramos 6-1, 6-1, 6-1 in just 79 minutes and even earlier in 2nd round against Fabio Fognini in just 76 minutes with 6-1, 6-3, 6-2. 


But boy oh boy what a scare he survived against Julien Benneteau after going 2 sets to love down Roger won third sets comfortably and it was the 4th set which decided the match Roger Federer took the 4th set in Tie Break. Julien was 2 points away from on 5 different occasions to cause the upset But hold his nerves and defeated him in 5 sets 4-6, 6-7(3), 6-2, 7-6(6), 6-1.

In 4th round Roger Federer faced Xavier Malisse but more than that a back pain...which shocked his fans as he recieved a indoor treatment but in interview Roger said: He is feeling good that type of back pain go away as fast as they come. Roger defeated Malisse in  4 sets 7-6(1), 6-1, 4-6, 6-3 and through to his RECORD 33rd CONSECUTIVE GRAND SLAM Quarter - Final.

In quarters Roger Raised his game against Mikhail Youzhny and defeated him in straight sets 6-1, 6-2, 6-2. and through to the sem-final which decided the No-1 Ranking.

Roger Federer face Novak Djokovic in the semis of wimbledon for the first time and Roger Proved why he is the Greatest Player of All time as he hold his cool and calmness and defeated djokovic in 4 sets 6-3, 3-6, 6-4, 6-3
