Roger Federer is a name needs no introduction. An all time Tennis
great, a Muhammad Ali of Tennis has made and broke numerous records in
Tennis but since 2010 after winning Australian Open, he has been considered as an underdog in Tennis
Grand slams due to his recent form in grand slam tournaments. Since then
he has managed to win just 1 Grand Slam i.e. Wimbledon 2012 and reached
in 1 final i.e in 2011 Roland Garros, French Open. So the question
arises that is the Golden Era of Roger Federer is Over or is there
something left?
Well looking at his recent from in tournaments of 2013 you can say
yes! but taking just one year into account and predicting the future of a
Legend is injustice, it is true that he has only managed to reach in
only one semi-final of grand-slam this year his best result so far and
losing in 2nd round of Wimbledon Championship, where he is considered,
The Greatest, his worst result so far and up til now just able to take 1
silver home i.e Halle, Germany out of 13 tournaments he entered,
overall his worst year so far since 2002 but you cannot take out the
factor and magic of Roger Federer in Tennis at any time although he has
turned 32 this year but he is still a force to defeat by looking at his
records.
US Open the last grand slam of the year is just hours away, draws are
announced and Roger Federer is on quarter-final collision with his
great rival Rafael Nadal. This is a great opportunity for Roger Federer
to prove the he is still the player to beat and if somehow Roger Federer
would able to lift his 18th Grand Slam then all questions regarding his
from and regarding a decline will go away from the planet earth. And no
doubt! if the Magic of Roger Federer comes out if he remains fit... He
Can Do It Again!
